Tour general settings

Choose the theme, animation and other settings that apply to every step in a tour.

Who can do this: All Flook users

Steps

  1. Open your tour in the Flook Builder.
  2. In the bottom bar, click Tour General Settings (the sliders icon).
  3. Change any of these:
    • Theme: the look of every step. Click New Theme to create one, or the pencil to edit the selected theme.
    • Animation: how each step appears: None, Fade, Scale, Perspective, Shift away or Shift toward.
    • Dismissible: "This will allow your users to close a tour from any of the steps". When it's off, there's no close button, so visitors can only leave the tour by finishing it.
    • Flook Branding: show the Flook logo on each step.
    • Hide on mobile: don't start the tour by itself on small screens.
  4. Click Save Tour.

Tips

  • Steps always use the tour's theme. In a step's own settings, you'll see "The theme is controlled by the Tour Settings".
  • The style of the progress indicator and the Previous / Next buttons is set in the theme, under Tour Controls. See Create and edit a theme.
