Edit page group settings

Rename a page in your tour, change which web address it covers, or delete it.

Who can do this: All Flook users

Steps

  1. Open your tour in the Flook Builder.
  2. In the bottom bar, click the page group you want to change.
  3. Click its gear icon (Edit … settings). The Page Group Settings panel opens.
  4. Change the Group Name if you like.
  5. Change the Page URL if you need to. This is the address of the page the group covers, not including your website's name. For example, use settings/profile for www.yourdomain.com/settings/profile.
  6. Click Save Group.

What the panel shows you

  • Matches current page or Does not match current page tells you whether the page you're on fits the Page URL.
  • Steps lists the steps in this group. Click one to open it.
  • For the first page group: "This page sets the starting URL for your tour." The tour starts on any page that matches this group.

Delete a page group

  1. In Page Group Settings, click Delete group, then click it again.
  2. In Delete?, confirm.

This also deletes every step in the group, and it can't be undone. You can't delete a tour's only page group.

Troubleshooting

"Positional matches have not been defined in first group yet."

You've used * in this page group, but there's no * in the first page group to match it with. See Use URL patterns in tours.

"… is not defined in the first group."

You've used a named value, like {companyID}, that doesn't appear in the first page group's Page URL. Add it to the first group, or remove it here.

"You have used too many positional matches, only one is available."

This page group uses more * wildcards than the first page group has. Use the same number or fewer.
