Hide items on mobile

Stop an item or tour from showing on phones and other small screens.

Who can do this: All Flook users

Steps

  1. In the Flook Builder, open the tooltip, highlight or popup.
  2. On the Essentials tab, under General, turn on Hide on mobile.
  3. Click Save.

For a tour, turn on Hide on mobile in Tour general settings, then click Save Tour.

What counts as mobile

Flook goes by the width of the browser window, not the type of device. If the window is 640 pixels wide or less, the item is hidden. That includes a desktop browser that's been made very narrow.

Tips

  • If you're testing and an item doesn't appear, check that your browser window isn't too narrow.
  • If a visitor starts a tour from a button, the tour starts even if Hide on mobile is on.
