Manage your websites¶
Set your main website and choose whether Flook runs on any website, or only on the ones you list.
Who can do this: Admins only
Before you start¶
Your main website was set when you signed up. You only need this page if your website's address changes, or you use Flook on more than one website.
Change your main website¶
- Go to Settings → Websites.
- In Main domain, enter your website, for example
www.yourdomain.com. - Click away from the box. It saves automatically.
Your main website:
- is always needed
- must be a single website, without a wildcard like
*. - is where the Flook Builder sends you when you open something from the dashboard
- is the fallback when Flook can't run on the page you're on.
Choose where Flook can run¶
Allow all domains decides whether Flook needs a list of websites.
Allow all domains (on)¶
"Flook runs wherever you install it, no domain list needed. Right for most accounts, including apps embedded under a custom domain."
To turn it on:
- Click the Allow all domains switch.
- In Allow Flook to run on all websites, click Allow all websites.
Your list of allowed websites is kept, so you can switch back later.
Only your allowed websites (off)¶
Flook only runs on your main website and any websites under Allowed domains. See Allow Flook on more than one website.
To turn it off:
- Click the Allow all domains switch.
- Read the warning in Only run Flook on your allowed websites?. It explains that your content will stop showing on any website that isn't listed.
- Click Restrict to allowed websites.
- Check that Allowed domains includes everywhere you use Flook.
Tips¶
- If you paste a full web address, only the website part is kept. For example,
https://www.yourdomain.com/pricingbecomeswww.yourdomain.com. www.yourdomain.comandyourdomain.comcount as different websites.
Troubleshooting¶
"Main domain must be a domain name like www.example.com, without a wildcard, port or path"¶
Enter just the website, such as www.yourdomain.com, without https://, a * or anything after it.
"Main domain is required"¶
You can't leave your main website blank.
