Allow Flook on more than one website¶
Add other web addresses where Flook should run, such as a staging site or your app's subdomain.
Who can do this: Admins only
Before you start¶
You only need a list of allowed websites when Allow all domains is off. See Manage your websites.
Add a website in the dashboard¶
- Go to Settings → Websites.
- Under Allowed domains, type the website in the empty box, for example
app.yourdomain.com. - Click Add.
Add a website from the Flook Builder¶
If you open the Flook Builder on a website that isn't allowed, you'll see This site isn't in your allowed websites. Click Add website to add the site you're on. You'll see Website added when it's done.
Use a wildcard for all your subdomains¶
Enter *.yourdomain.com to allow yourdomain.com and every subdomain, such as www.yourdomain.com, app.yourdomain.com and staging.app.yourdomain.com.
Change or remove a website¶
- To change one, edit it in the list and click away from the box.
- To remove one, click Delete next to it, then confirm "Are you sure you want to delete this alias?".
Tips¶
- Only add websites you control. Allowed websites shouldn't be used for entirely different sites or apps.
- Changes apply straight away in the Flook Builder.
Troubleshooting¶
"Enter a website like www.example.com or *.example.com, without https://, a port or a path"¶
Enter just the website. If you paste a full address, Flook tidies it for you.
"This is already your main website"¶
Your main website is always allowed, so you don't need to add it here.
