Preview your work

Check how a tooltip, highlight or popup will look and behave before your visitors see it.

Who can do this: All Flook users

Preview one item while you're editing it

  1. Open the item in the Flook Builder.
  2. At the top of the page, click the preview button (Preview tooltip, Preview highlight or Preview popup).
  3. Try it out on the page, for example by hovering over the element or clicking a button.
  4. Click Edit to go back to editing.

Preview everything on the page

  1. Open the Flook Builder.
  2. At the top of the page, click Preview.
  3. Your tours and items appear on the page as they would for a visitor.
  4. Click Edit or Navigate to stop previewing.

Tips

  • Previewing doesn't count as a view, so it won't use up an item that's set to show Once.
  • You can't preview a tour while you're editing a single item. If the item has a Launch tour button, you'll see Tour preview not available. To try the whole thing, leave the item and use Preview at the top of the page.
