Rename or delete an item

Change the name of a tour, tooltip, highlight or popup, or delete it for good.

Who can do this: All Flook users

Rename

In the dashboard

  1. Go to Tours, Tooltips, Highlights or Popups.
  2. Click the row to open its details.
  3. Click into Name and type the new name.
  4. Press Enter, or click somewhere else. The name saves automatically.

In the Flook Builder

  • For a tooltip, highlight or popup: open it, change Name in the settings panel, then click Save.
  • For a tour: open it, change the name in the bottom bar, then click Save Tour.

Delete

Deleting can't be undone.

In the dashboard

  1. In the list, click the bin icon in the Actions column. Or open the item and click Delete.
  2. Confirm. For example, for a tour, Delete Tour? asks "Are you sure you want to delete … ? This cannot be undone."

A message confirms it's been deleted.

In the Flook Builder

  1. Click List Tours and Widgets.
  2. Click the bin icon next to the item or tour.
  3. In Delete?, confirm.

You can also delete a tooltip, highlight or popup while you're editing it, using the delete button at the top of the page.
