Sign in to the Flook Builder

Open the Flook Builder on your website and sign in with your Flook account.

Who can do this: All Flook users

Before you start

Steps

  1. In Chrome, go to your website.
  2. Click the Flook icon in your Chrome toolbar. You can also press Ctrl+Shift+K (or Command+Shift+K on a Mac).
  3. A small sign-in window opens. Enter your Email and Password.
  4. Click Sign In.

What happens next

The Flook Builder opens on top of your website. Flook then checks that the website you're on belongs to your company:

While the Flook Builder is open, your published content is paused on this page so it doesn't get in the way. It comes back when you close the Flook Builder.

Tips

  • To close the Flook Builder, click the Flook icon in the toolbar again.
  • Right-click the Flook icon to see more options: Toggle Builder, Dashboard, Help and Sign Out.
  • If you leave the page or follow a link, the Flook Builder opens again by itself on the new page.

Troubleshooting

The sign-in window has disappeared

Look for Click to re open Flook login window at the top of the page and click it. If you close the sign-in window without signing in, the Flook Builder closes too.

"Login failed, please try again"

Close the Flook Builder, open it again and sign in again.

"The Flook login page could not be loaded. Please check your connection and try again."

Check your internet connection, then try again.

"To open the Flook editor you must be viewing a web page."

The Flook Builder only works on websites. It doesn't work on a new tab or on Chrome's own pages. Go to your website first.

"You can’t open the Flook editor on the Flook dashboard"

Go to your own website, then click the Flook icon.

"Incorrect email or password"

Check your details. If you've forgotten your password, click Forgot your password? in the sign-in window.
