Find your way around the Flook Builder¶
A quick guide to the Flook Builder's menu, its three modes and its list of everything you've made.

Before you start¶
Sign in to the Flook Builder on your website.
The main menu¶
The main menu is a small floating bar on the side of the page. You can drag it to move it, and click the Flook logo at the top to shrink or expand it. Hover over a button to see what it does.

| Add New Tour or Widget (+) | Create a New Tour, New Tooltip, New Highlight or New Popup. Hover over each one to see a preview. |
| List Tours and Widgets | Opens the list of everything you've made. |
| Help | Links to Open Dashboard, Install Flook Player, Feedback and Help Docs. |
| Your company logo | Switch companies. You only see this if you belong to more than one company. |
While you're editing a tour, the add and list buttons are replaced by Exit Tour.
Press Esc to close any open menu.
The three modes¶
At the top of the page there are three buttons:
- Edit: edit an existing tour or widget. This opens the list.
- Preview: see your tours and widgets on the page as your visitors would.
- Navigate: use your website as normal, so you can click through to another page.
The list of tours and widgets¶
The list has two tabs:
- Tours: all your tours.
- Widgets: your tooltips, highlights and popups. Steps that belong to a tour are only listed in the Tours tab.
You can search by name, and use the filter icon to:
- show Published only
- on the Widgets tab, choose a type (All, Tooltips, Highlights, Popups) or show This page only
- sort by Recently updated, Created or Name.
Each widget shows a badge:
- Matches this page: it would appear on the page you're on.
- Does not match this page: its page settings mean it wouldn't appear here.
In the list, anything on the page that has a widget or tour attached is outlined. Click an outline to open what's attached to it.
