Edit an item from the dashboard

Jump from the dashboard straight into the Flook Builder, on the right page, to edit a tour, tooltip, highlight or popup.

Who can do this: All Flook users

Before you start

Install the Flook Chrome extension in the same browser.

Steps

  1. In the dashboard, go to Tours, Tooltips, Highlights or Popups.
  2. Click the pencil icon (Edit) in the Actions column. Or open the item and click Edit.
  3. Your website opens on the page where the item was created, with the Flook Builder ready to edit it.

Tips

  • If the item was made on a different page from the one you're on, the Flook Builder asks whether to Navigate to Page (recommended) or Edit Here.

Troubleshooting

"Create and edit directly on your site"

The Flook Builder isn't installed in this browser. Click Install Flook Chrome extension.

"Domain not set. Go to Settings > Websites and add your main domain."

Your company doesn't have a main website yet. An admin needs to add one. See Manage your websites.
